How do I play?

Send a scan from a satellite around the edge of the board. Compare its result with your other scans to work out where ships are hidden. Send a drone to a square when you are ready. Help in the game explains the objects and their effects.

Can I see a scan again?

Yes. Your scans are saved in the scan history. Tap one to see its result again. Viewing a saved scan doesn’t use another scan.

What if I run out of scans or drones?

You can retry the puzzle with its starting scans and drones. Retrying clears your notes and costs no Stardust. Boosters and Stardust you already used are not returned. Campaign missions may also offer a drone resupply for Stardust.

Do I have to buy Stardust?

No. Every campaign mission can be solved without a purchase. You earn Stardust through campaign progress. Packs are optional and include the Stardust and bonus boosters shown in the Store. Daily Fleet has no boosters or purchases.

How does Daily Fleet work?

The daily puzzle changes at 00:00 UTC, which may be a different time in your time zone. The catalogue contains 30 puzzles and repeats after 30 days. Fleets you start are saved so you can finish them later. You cannot open future fleets or past fleets you did not start. Retrying keeps the same puzzle; using a hint keeps that fleet marked as assisted.

Where is my progress saved?

Your campaign progress, daily attempts, Stardust and booster inventory are saved locally on this device and can be included in its backup. GNOME does not have an account or automatic sync between devices. Keep the app installed if you are troubleshooting a missing purchase or save.

Can I restore a consumable purchase on another device?

Stardust packs and boosters are consumable items. They are not restored like a non-consumable unlock, and GNOME does not automatically transfer your wallet between devices. A compatible device backup may include the local save. Contact us before deleting the app if a purchase is missing.

A purchase is pending or has not arrived. What should I do?

A pending purchase must be approved by Apple before items are added. If Apple confirmed a purchase but GNOME could not save it, keep the app installed, make sure the device has available storage, and reopen the app. If the items are still missing, email us with the app version, purchase date and the message you saw. Do not send your password or payment card details.

Can I play offline?

You can play campaign missions and Daily Fleet offline. Loading product prices and completing purchases require a connection to Apple’s services.

How do I change analytics or crash-report choices?

Open Settings in GNOME. Gameplay analytics and crash reports have separate switches and are off by default. Turning off gameplay analytics stops new analytics events and resets local analytics data. Restart the app after turning off crash reports so that change takes full effect. Your puzzles and progress do not depend on either choice.
